PeralilloThis village is located 5 kms. from Vicuña. It is one of the smallest in the valley and has only 978 inhabitants according to the latest census in 2002. Despite its small size, it is one of the most important localities in the Elqui Valley, maintaining a very characteristic structure around its main street, and where we can highlight its old adobe church. This town has a remarkable production of grapes for the elaboration of pisco. It belongs to the commune of Vicuña and along the Elqui River we can find the Agricultural Pisco Cooperative of Elqui, “Capel”. Here, we can watch and enjoy the process of producing pisco, the main liquor production of Chile.
